Jaffna is the capital of Northern Sri Lanka & the heart of Tamil Culture. Tamils have been living in northern Sri Lanka for over a thousand years ago & developed a unique cultural identity. Going through a bloody civil war during 1983-2009, Jaffna is peaceful again & going through a transition period. After a cookery demonstration, enjoy a typical Jaffna meal & getting into a discussion about the family life & changing lifestyle in Jaffna with the host family.
